Dear Parishioners,

This coming weekend, June 13 and 14 we will move back into the church.

Sunday Mass Schedule
The Sunday Mass schedule will be as follows:
Saturday – 4 pm (Fr. Frank)
Sunday – 9 am and 11 am (Fr. John)

(We will not have confessions prior to Saturday evening Mass.)

Why a 4:00pm Mass on Saturday?
Saturday anticipated Masses are often attended by a good deal of seniors. During the Winter months it gets dark by 6pm and we have a lot of seniors who do not want to drive at night. We are going to shift to a 4pm Mass and see how it assists with this issue.

What About 7:30am?
Thankfully, we are blessed with a very large church and can accommodate many people. We will continue to monitor attendance to determine if another Mass is needed. Many parishes around the Valley have reduced their number of Masses since attendance has lessened due to the pandemic.

What About Physical Distancing?
We ask people to sit together with their family/group and respect good distancing. As you take your seats please be mindful that everyone is trying to keep 6ft of distance. As time goes on, we will be able to lessen that physical distancing and sit closer together.

You May Also Attend in the Parish Hall
We will also be streaming the Mass to the parish hall and send a Eucharistic minister for Communion. People will be able to also keep good distancing in the hall.

You May Still Attend in Your Vehicles
We will continue to stream to our big LED screen, so people will be able to watch and listen in their cars. We will set up a Communion station for you outside as well.

You May Watch from Home
We will be streaming the Masses on our homepage. Therefore, we will no longer have our Sunday Worship Services. (We are in the process of installing cameras and upgrading our internet quality, so things should improve over the next few weeks as we get everything going. Please be patient with us. We had a generous donation to cover the cost of this equipment.)

People Need To Take Personal Responsibility for Their Health
It is everyone's responsibility to determine what they are comfortable with regarding distance and conversation. We want to also be understanding of those who may not feel the same way as we do. Therefore, let us respect each other's boundaries.

Are Facemasks Mandatory?
No, I have never made them mandatory. But I think it is a very good way for us to take an extra precaution to protect each other and keep each other comfortable during this time. Fr. Frank and I especially ask that you protect us as well. Please know that we love you very much and want to be in closer contact with you, however we also need to protect ourselves.

Daily Mass and Confession Schedule
We will continue with the current daily Mass schedule.
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 8:30 am. (Confessions follow Mass)

Things Are Not Back to Normal
I suppose you all know this, but it's good to remember that we are not close to being back to normal. I don't even know what normal will mean going forward. It's probably better for us to think in terms of simply moving forward as opposed to returning to "things as they used to be." Those days are gone. We will continue to update you on how we are adapting our programming for the coming year.
