Dear Parishioners,

I would like to thank everyone for our wonderful Christmas celebrations. It takes quite a bit of coordination and numerous volunteers to do everything from decorate the church to ensure that our liturgies are well done.

I would like to thank all of our people who helped with the environment in the church, especially Nancy Kijewski and her team. All of our volunteers for the liturgies; lectors, ushers, Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion, and servers.

Our music was beautiful this year due to the hard work of Chris Muglia and our singers and musicians.

Thank you to Ann Maloney who prepared our young lectors for the Children's Mass. Coordinating all of these things was our parish manager, Wade McFall and my assistant Virginia Meeker. They are invaluable to me and our parish.

Of course thank you to Deacon Richard for his service and Fr. Frank Bartel for being the wonderful and generous priest he is to our community.

Lastly, thank you to all of you for your kindness and hospitality to all who visited us. It's wonderful to have our people at Mass, even if some of them are more intermittent. You never know if our kindness to them or presence might bring them back more frequently.

Let's not forget that, as Catholics, we celebrate our major Solemnities for weeks after the celebration. Thus, our Christmas celebrations will continue all the way until January 12th which is the feast of the Baptism of the Lord.

Many blessings to you all,
Fr. John
