On behalf of the entire staff of St. Thomas More, Merry Christmas to you and your family! How wonderful it is for us to be together worshiping the Lord Jesus as we celebrate his coming into the world and into our lives.

Living life as a joyful Christian is tremendously better than life without the Lord. With Jesus we are given his grace and strength to endure trials and difficulties and to live in his goodness.

Let us be joy filled together, let us be grateful for all of the many gifts we have in our lives. Let us not focus on the negative and not what is wrong with the world or our families, but what is right and good. No doubt the negatives are always there, but we don’t have to be consumed by them. We can choose to see how God is working in our lives despite the difficulties. When we acknowledge God’s presence and have confidence in his activity we do not become hopeless or distraught because we know that he is always with us, moving us more and more toward himself.
