The Holy Smoke 20th Anniversary edition – Week 2
This weekend we celebrate the Liturgical life of the parish. What does St. Thomas More church mean to you? Our liturgies are what bring us together as a faithful family of God’s community. This weekend we reflect on, “Called to Serve.” From the moment, we were baptized and anointed as priest, prophet and king, to the day we joined St. Thomas More, our willingness to serve has made our liturgies what they are. Ushers, Lectors, Eucharistic Ministers, Musicians, Singers, Sacristans; all of us have made STM proud.
Our liturgies would not be what they are without our Liturgy/Music Director, Steve Raml. Read about his dedicated presence in our community. Also read about being, “Called to Serve”, and “Those that Serve”. Being a Eucharistic Minister or Sacristan is no ordinary role. In this issue of Holy Smoke Jan Barrett, and Glen & Aline Ford talk about what being an EM means to them, and why they serve our community. Through their service and the serving of many others St. Thomas More has become the parish we have grown to love and cherish over these twenty years. Hope you enjoy this special edition, week two of our 20th anniversary issue.
